Athletic's Ander Herrera injured

Midfielder Ander Herrera picked up an injury in training on Thursday. The Athletic Club player has a problem with the adductor muscle in his left thigh and will have to undergo tests to ascertain the seriousness of the ailment.

Ander has played seven matches in the Liga BBVA this year, starting in six of them, in his third season at Athletic. The player has now accumulated 68 matches for the club from Bilbao, during which he has scored two goals. He was signed in the 2011/12 season from Real Zaragoza, the team where he made his Liga BBVA debut.
