Asensio scored February's best goal in the Liga Adelante

RCD Mallorca forward Marco Asensio scored for the sixth time in this season's Liga Adelante on 28 February, a free-kick from roughly 30 metres out that has seen him earn the goal of the month accolade awarded by LFP.es.

The strike came in the final moments of Mallorca's game at Barcelona B on matchday 27 of the Liga Adelante. With the visitors leading los azulgranas 2-3 in time added on, the man from the Balearic Islands executed a perfect left-footed free-kick that found the top corner and sealed a 2-4 final scoreline.

In his second Liga Adelante campaign with the club, the 19-year-old has made 25 appearances.
