Antoine Griezmann named LALIGA EA SPORTS Player of the Month for November

Antoine Griezmann has been voted the LALIGA EA SPORTS Player of the Month for November, an accolade awarded by LALIGA in partnership with EA. The Frenchman played an instrumental role in Atletico’s two wins in November, which were key to their ascent to third place in the table.

The 32-year-old Frenchman continues to demonstrate his nose for goal season after season. During November he played a key role in his team’s comeback against Villarreal CF with a goal and an assist, and he went on to steal the limelight in Atletico’s 1-0 win over RCD Mallorca with a sensational headed goal.

These last two victories have seen Atletico Madrid rise to third place in the LALIGA EA SPORTS table, four points behind Girona FC and Real Madrid, although Los Rojiblancos have a game in hand.

Griezmann takes home the LALIGA EA SPORTS Player of the Month award for the first time this campaign, having claimed the trophy on several occasions in previous seasons, and follows in the footsteps of last month’s winner, Jude Bellingham. The Frenchman was the pick of the bunch in the voting, beating Borja Mayoral (Getafe CF), Ante Budimir (CA Osasuna), Artem Dovbyk (Girona FC) and Ayoze Perez (Real Betis).
