Alex Sola and Samu Omorodion win the LALIGA EA SPORTS Best Play for February

Alex Sola and Samu Omorodion have received the LALIGA EA SPORTS Best Play award for February, a distinction presented by LALIGA together with VisitSaudi.

In the 50th minute, Samu Omorodion brought the match between Deportivo Alaves and Barcelona to life by capitalising on a sublime assist by Alex Sola with the outside of his right boot. With his team 2-0 down, the Babazorro winger cut inside to beat Frenkie De Jong on the flank and make it to the edge of the box, from where he played in a sumptuous cross in for Samu Omorodion. The striker stole a march on Ronald Araujo and beat Iñaki Peña with a thumping header to get his team back in the match (2-1).

The Deportivo Alaves players win the LALIGA EA SPORTS Best Play award for February, with the judges deeming them to have outclassed Gorka Guruzeta and Yuri Berchiche, of Athletic Club; and Vinicius Jr. and Jude Bellingham, of Real Madrid.
