Aitor Ruibal wins LALIGA EA SPORTS Goal of the Month for December

Aitor Ruibal’s effort against Real Madrid has won the LALIGA EA SPORTS Goal of the Month Award for December, presented by LALIGA in partnership with GolBall. The forward hit a rocket of a shot for Betis to draw the scores level in his side’s encounter with Los Blancos last month.

After Jude Bellingham put the visitors ahead at the start of the second half Ruibal wasted no time in getting his side back into the game. Having been fed the ball by William José the 27-year-old set his sights before launching an unstoppable effort past Andriy Lunin. A spectacular goal that had the entire Benito Villamarin stadium on its feet in rapturous applause!

Real Betis’ number 24 beat competition from Brahim Díaz (Real Madrid) and Umar Sadiq (Real Sociedad) in the voting for LALIGA EA SPORTS Goal of the Month.
