R. Valladolid CF – UD Las Palmas (Estadio Municipal José Zorrilla, 12:00)
Valladolid, currently in third place, host Liga Adelante leaders, Las Palmas, with whom they are level on points with 26. The side from Castile and Leon come into the match after two goalless draws, while the Canary Island outfit have picked up points in their last seven matches. For Joan Francesc Ferrer ‘Rubi’ it is a vital game: "It is a clash between two of the top teams. Whoever loses will feel it for a little while".
Girona FC – RC Recreativo (Estadio Municipal de Montilivi, 17:00)
After two consecutive defeats, Girona returned to winning ways last week; on Liga Adelante matchday 14 they host the Decano, who, like the Catalans, won again last week after a four-match drought. Pablo Machín, Girona's coach, analysed his opponents: "They are a very good team, they are well drilled and have one of the most experienced coaches in the division and it shows".
CD Mirandés – CD Leganés (Estadio Municipal de Anduva, 17:00)
Just two points separate Mirandés and Leganés. Both managers believe it will be a tricky game; Carlos Terrazas, the Mirandés coach: "It is a very dangerous game, apart from the quality of the opponent, it is dangerous because they have just lost at home, they'll be feeling it. It is going to be a very difficult and tense game". Asier Garitano, the Leganés manager: "We'll have to play very well, it is a ground that demands a lot of concentration because of the atmosphere and the characteristics of the opponent".
Real Betis – D. Alavés (Estadio Benito Villamarín, 18:15)
After four draws on the trot, Alavés will be looking for a win in Betis' notoriously difficult ground. Julio Velázquez, the Verdiblancos' manager, highlighted the strengths of his opponents: "They are a very well organised team, whose discipline allows them to progress in their games, it is not easy to put them in trouble. They are very solid in defence and have been very consistent throughout the championship".
Albacete B. – At Osasuna (Carlos Belmonte, 19:00)
Albacete, who prop up the table, host Osasuna. The two teams lost last week to RC Recreativo and SD Ponferradina respectively. The Rojillos' coach, Jan Urban, will be without a number of his players for the game; the suspended Miguel Flaño and Nikola Vujadinović, and the injured Jordan Lotiès, Oier Sanjurjo, Ion Echaide, Liassine Cadamuro and Mikel Merino.
AD Alcorcón - CD Lugo (Santo Domingo, 21:00)
The Alfareros are looking to pick up points for the fourth consecutive game, but Lugo, who sit one point ahead of them in the standings, will be trying to stop them. Pepe Bordalás, the manager of the team from the capital is wary of being overconfident following their recent results: "Morale is better than a few weeks ago, but you have to fight in every match because it is very tough to get through these games".
