An early goal from Levante UD got underway what would be lively evening in the Municipal de Ipurua stadium. SD Eibar snatched a valuable point (3-3) in the 93rd minute after coming back against José Luis Mendilibar's team in one of the most exciting matches of Liga BBVA matchday seven.
The Granotas opened the scoring in the second minute with a move from José Luis Morales who got the visitors straight into the game. However, it was the Armeros who enjoyed the best chances. Gaizka Garitano's men asked a lot of questions of goalkeeper Diego Mariño throughout the first half and forced him to make several stops. But it was Víctor Camarasa who opened the floodgates for Levante just before the break.
Eibar came out so focused in the second half, that they were quickly rewarded and levelled the match. An own goal from Pedro López gave Eibar a confidence boost and they scored their second with a great strike from Saúl Berjón that found its way into the top corner of Diego Mariño's goal. However, Levante responded through Víctor Casadesús, who had to settle for a draw after some heroics from Federico Piovaccari on the final whistle.
