"A synergy of effort has been created for which we are very satisfied"

With the completion of the first five Sporting Law meetings organised by the Fundación del Fútbol Profesional and the Liga de Fútbol Profesional, the directors of the forums, Alberto Palomar and Antonio V. Sempere, positively assess the discussions in which leading authorities from the world of sports law come together on a monthly basis.

"It is a multi-faceted vision and the objectives are being met, not by providing definitive solutions but by addressing the burning issues from different perspectives", according to Antonio V. Sempere, professor of Labour Law in the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos. "In terms of the coming together of different experiences and the creation of a network of contacts, as well as the exchange of information, these meetings are fulfilling the objectives set out and could go on to achieve even more", the professor concluded.

For his part, Alberto Palomar, professor of Administrative Law at the Universidad Carlos III, affirmed that the assistance is "reasonable, responsible and well-balanced. Extremely professional people from different sectors come together. Their participation is consistently in keeping with the required effort which demands one evening of their time every month".

Finally, both lawmen thanked the LFP for organising these meetings which "are not for the benefit of the LFP, but for the benefit of the world of sporting law". They added that "the idea is to stick together during those times when people tend to stick to their own, even though it might seem romantic. We have created a synergy of effort and for that we are optimistic and satisfied", declared Sempere.
