A rocking #LigaBBVAExperience weekend with a Latin beat

The fifth instalment of the 10-stop #LigaBBVAExperience roadshow in Spain was a resounding success. Eleven LaLiga followers hailing from Argentina, Chile, Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela came together to form a line-up with a distinct Latin American flavour, ready to savour three wonderful days in Madrid.

The experience was crowned in style in a VIP box at the Vicente Calderon, from where the winners of the competitions held by DirecTV and Sky Mexico watched Atletico Madrid's victory over Granada CF and soaked up the spectacular atmosphere for which the footballing cathedral on the banks of the Manzanares is renowned. On top of that, they even got to meet the Rojiblancos stars after the match.

But that's not all. The international fans had the chance to explore the stadiums of no fewer than three clubs during their time in the capital, as well as to sample delicious Spanish cuisine, to discover the charms of Madrid's old town with a guided tour and, for those that way inclined, to enjoy the city's famous nightlife to the max. All of this, plus of course countless conversations about the beautiful game, made for a three-day stay in which our group had a ball in every sense.

Next up, the #LigaBBVAExperience will be heading straight to A Coruña and Bilbao. Here, lucky Now TV, AzamTV, Viasat, PPTV and Supersport viewers will get to witness one of what promise to be two thrilling encounters on Wednesday, RC Deportivo v FC Barcelona at Riazor and Athletic Club v Atletico Madrid at San Mames, as part of an action-packed experience full of football and culture.
