The Seville derby between Real Betis Balompié and Sevilla FC in the 33rd round of Liga BBVA won't just be any other derby. It will be full of excitement, emotion and need with the home side fighting for survival and the visitors gunning for Europe.
If Betis are able to shake off their bad run against a visiting Sevilla side they would get three points that would keep their aspirations of staying in Liga BBVA alive. The side are conscious of how important a win against Unai Emery's men would be. "We have to win because we are obliged to. We want to win this derby come what may", said Gabriel Calderón. Joan Verdú and Nosa will be fit, but Ivan Rakitic will be touch and go until the last minute for the visitors with fever.
Sevilla are in terrific form, having just got into the semi-finals of the Europa League, they sit fifth in the league and Emery's men will go to the Benito Villamarín looking to close off their best season in recent years. "The last few results are giving the side momentum and confidence, but our opponent's motivation is also enormous", said the Basque coach.
