Albacete 0-2 AD Alcorcon
The Oscar Plano show secured the three points for the visitors, who dominated for long stretches. After the forward's double in the space of eight minutes in the final quarter of the match, David Rodriguez had the opportunity to add further gloss to the scoreline from the penalty spot, only to hit the upright.
CD Tenerife 3-1 R. Valladolid CF
The second of four braces notched up in Saturday's Liga Adelante action came in this meeting of mid-table outfits. Nano emulated his above-mentioned Alcorcon counterpart by scoring twice to help Tenerife claim the spoils. Although Oscar Gonzalez Marcos pulled one back for Valladolid, Anthony Lozano sealed victory for his team with their third goal, a fine effort that involved leaving a couple of Valladolid players on their backsides.
Girona FC 1-0 RCD Mallorca
The Catalans edged past the Majorcans courtesy of Cristian Herrera's well-taken 47th-minute spot-kick. The win propels Pablo Machin's men even further into playoff contention.
Cordoba CF 3-1 Elche CF
Florin Andone was the third member of the Saturday-evening double club, rediscovering his shooting boots after a dry spell. The Romanian striker broke the deadlock in the first half, before Armando equalised shortly after the restart. Pedro Rios put the hosts back in front, side-footing home deftly from close range, and then Andone made sure of the points with a last-gasp penalty.
CD Leganes 2-3 SD Huesca
Leganes's stuttering run continued with this home defeat, which follows two straight draws that had already derailed their charge at the top of the table. Juanjo Camacho gave the away side the lead after just four minutes, but Leganes drew level from 12 yards through Alexander Szymanowski. Camacho completed his brace after the break and then Fran Merida extended the visitors' advantage with a penalty of his own. Although Asdrubal reduced the deficit late on, the promotion chasers from the Madrid suburbs were unable to snatch a point.
R. Zaragoza 0-1 Nastic
The Catalans ran out 1-0 winners in this important game in the battle for promotion to the Liga BBVA. With just seven minutes left to play, Gimnastic's top goalscorer, Jose Naranjo, sealed three valuable points for his team with his 14th goal of the campaign.
CD Mirandes 0-0 UE Llagostera
CD Mirandes and UE Llagostera played out a goalless draw in an evenly-matched game in which both sides had their chances, but neither managed to break the deadlock.
At. Osasuna 3-2 CD Numancia
CD Numancia scored twice in the first 15 minutes of this five goal thriller at El Sadar. At. Osasuna reacted well as Mikel Merino scored a brace, the fifth player to do so this weekend, and Roberto Torres added another from the penalty spot to seal a 3-2 win for the home side.
CD Lugo 2-0 Bilbao Athletic
Pablo Caballero, in the first half, and Joselu, in the second, sealed the points for CD Lugo, who remain hopeful of sealing their place in the promotion playoffs to the Liga BBVA. Lugo now lie 11th, just five points adrift of Girona FC in sixth place.
D. Alaves 2-0 SD Ponferradina
A solid D. Alaves performance gave SD Ponferradina little chance after Victor Laguardia headed them into an early lead. Manu Garcia sealed the points before the break. The win saw Jose Bordalas' side take top spot after CD Leganes crashed to a home defeat to SD Huesca.
UD Almeria 3-1 R. Oviedo
Although Real Oviedo broke the deadlock, UD Almeria reacted impressively and the Andalusian side came back courtesy of goals from Quique, Kalu Uche and Chuli to seal three points which saw them climb out of the Liga Adelante's relegation zone with just three games to go before the end of the campaign.
