1) Yunus Musah was born on 29th November 2002 in New York, where his mother was on holiday at the time. He is of Ghanaian descent but lived in Italy until the age of nine, beginning his youth career with local club Giorgione. After moving to London, he spent seven years at Arsenal FC and graduated from their Hale End academy.
2) Internationally, Musah is eligible to represent either England, Ghana, Italy or the United States. He’s most recently played for England at Under-18 level, having previously captained their U15, U16 and U17 sides.
3) Musah’s first team debut for Valencia came on 13th September 2020, almost one year to the day after joining the club. He is the first Englishman ever to play for Los Che in a competitive match.
4) Aunque principalmente es centrocampista, Musah también puede jugar a un nivel más amplio, como mostró contra el Levante, o como 10. Él mismo cree que su capacidad de pase y creación de juego son sus puntos más fuertes, pero también tiene un ritmo explosivo, habilidad para el regate y olfato de gol.
5) Musah tiene seguridad en sí mismo y es un líder natural. Le gusta hablar en el terreno de juego y ya se comunica con fluidez en español. Su entrenador Javi Gracia lo elogió especialmente en la rueda de prensa posterior al partido el domingo, destacando su madurez y afirmando que tiene talento para convertirse en un jugador de primer nivel en el futuro.
