Marko Dmitrović, EA SPORTS LALIGA Best Save in December

Marko Dmitrović has received the LALIGA EA SPORTS Best Save award for December. The CD Leganés goalkeeper was once again key with a superb intervention in another win for the Pepeños, this time against FC Barcelona, who they beat for the first time in their history.

In the 32nd minute of the match and with Borja Jiménez's side 0-1 up, the clearest chance came for the blaugranas, after a good run down the left by Balde, the full-back put in a cross to the near post that Raphinha finished off but the Serbian goalkeeper came up with a fantastic save to keep the score level.

The CD Leganés ‘13’ wins the LALIGA EA SPORTS Best Save of the month award for the second time after beating Álex Remiro (Real Sociedad) and Iñaki Peña (FC Barcelona) in the final vote.
