Lionel Messi
The Argentinian is the all-time top scorer in Spain’s top division with 497 goals, winning 11 league titles and four Champions League trophies with FC Barcelona, as well as seven Ballon d'Or awards and a World Cup with Argentina. On top of all this, he claimed Olympic gold at Beijing 2008, winning the final 1-0 against Nigeria.
Neymar
Brazilian forward Neymar spent five years in LALIGA EA SPORTS, winning a pair of titles with FC Barcelona in addition to one Champions League. He also won the Olympic gold medal in front of a home crowd, at Rio 2016. Brazil defeated Germany in the final on penalties, with Neymar scoring the final penalty of the shootout.
Sergio Agüero
The Argentinean striker played for Atlético de Madrid for five seasons, making 174 appearances and scoring 74 goals for Los Rojiblancos, as well as spending the final three months of his career at FC Barcelona. He was an Olympic champion the same year as Messi, at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.
Samuel Eto'o
The Cameroonian spent nearly a decade in LALIGA, accumulating 280 appearances and 162 goals scored between FC Barcelona and RCD Mallorca. He won the gold medal with Cameroon at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games, beating Spain on penalties in the final.

During his time in Spain, he managed to win a league title in the 2012/13 season, while at international level he won many titles, including the 2008 gold alongside Messi and Agüero. In fact, it was Di María who scored the winning goal in the final.
Pep Guardiola
The current Manchester City coach played in LALIGA for several years, making 263 appearances with six goals scored. He won six league titles as a player with FC Barcelona during his playing days. Then, as a coach, he won three consecutive titles with the club. All the while, he was playing and coaching at the stadium where he was part of the historic Barcelona 1992 generation that secured gold for Spain.
Javier Saviola
Javier Saviola has played in LALIGA for FC Barcelona, Sevilla FC, Málaga CF and Real Madrid, playing in 195 games and scoring 70 goals, with one LALIGA EA SPORTS title secured in 2007/08 with Real Madrid. He won the Olympic gold medal in Athens 2004, when Argentina defeated Paraguay in the final 1-0.
Javier Mascherano
Mascherano is another LALIGA legend, having spent six and a half seasons with FC Barcelona, playing 203 games and scoring one goal. In his years in the Spanish championship, he won five league trophies. His Olympic story is a special one, as he won as a player in both Athens 2004 and Beijing 2008, making him one of the most successful players in the history of Olympic football as he now heads to the next Games as his country’s coach.
Luis Enrique
The Asturian, who currently coaches PSG, has played 400 games in LALIGA EA SPORTS as a player and scored 103 goals. He achieved this playing for Real Madrid, Real Sporting and FC Barcelona. Santiago Cañizares
The Spanish goalkeeper played in 397 LALIGA matches, distributed between RC Celta, Real Madrid and Valencia CF. He has four league titles to his name, two with Real Madrid and two with Valencia CF. Like Guardiola and Luis Enrique, he won gold with Spain at Barcelona 1992.
Other players who have won Olympic gold

Others like Xavi Hernández, Carles Puyol, Unai Simón, Mikel Oyarzabal and Pedri have all won medals at the Olympic Games, although in their place it was silver.
