Furthermore, the fans that bought the most tickets during the season were Real Betis (5,918), Sevilla FC (5,101), Atlético de Madrid (5,032), Athletic Club (4,870) and UD Las Palmas (4,752). In total, away fans travelled to 98.5% of the matches.

The months with the highest average ticket sales per match were: August (269), February (261) and March (264).

As such, Víctor Martín, Head of the LALIGA President's Office, was keen to make an assessment of the numbers achieved: “We're very happy with the results obtained during the first season of the 'Grada Visitante' agreement. The clubs are grateful and so are the fans. Hopefully, next season, more clubs will sign up and we can make this an even bigger and more beneficial agreement for the fans".

Derbies had the highest number of applications

Both Athletic Club - Real Sociedad fixtures, plus Real Betis - Sevilla FC, had the highest number of ticket requests with 5,716 and 3,984 in the case of El Derbi Vasco and 5,000 for ElGranDerbi.  Both CA Osasuna - Real Sociedad fixtures, along with Deportivo Alavés - CA Osasuna were the most in demand matches.

Additionally, spokespeople from some of the member clubs expressed their appreciation of the agreement once the season was over.

Alfonso Fernández de Trocóniz, President of Deportivo Alavés: "We are very positive about the agreement because, on the one hand, it has allowed our fans to travel and support the team at other grounds for set ticket prices, and on the other hand it has allowed people to come to Vitoria, to Mendizorroza, to get to know the city, as they support their team".

Delfi Geli, President of Girona FC: "At Girona FC we value the 'Grada Visitante' agreement very highly. It's allowed our fans to travel very easily, accompanying our team on all the away trips they made this season".

Alfredo García, General Director of Granada CF: "Almost 5,000 away fans were able to benefit from this agreement launched by LALIGA to access the Estadio de Los Cármenes at a reasonable price. This is in line with what we’ve always intended with this initiative, which is the peaceful coexistence between fans in a friendly environment, while also enjoying everything that a wonderful city like Granada has to offer".

Alfonso Díaz, CEO of RCD Mallorca: "1,700 Mallorca fans were able to watch their team at other stadiums. And it's important to have affordable, reasonable prices. It's an agreement that we at the club value highly and hope that everyone joins this initiative to make it easier for the fans of all the teams to travel, fill the stadiums, and add to the matchday experience with away fans."

Ramón Alarcón, CEO of Real Betis: "It's been a huge success and we're one of the clubs with the most people travelling with the team. We've covered the quota of tickets for the away stand in almost every game. The fact that it can be done at a fixed price, at a cheaper price... that supports football. I think it's good for football that the fans can travel. It's been a great initiative and we fully support it.”

Jose María del Nido, President of Sevilla FC: "Sevilla FC is in agreement with all measures that promote fan attendance at the grounds, in this case the rival teams' supporters. Sevilla can also boast that it was one of the teams that pushed for this initiative".

Patricio Viñayo, General Director of UD Las Palmas: "This agreement is an unequivocal sign of LALIGA's commitment to generating economic dynamism and attracting tourists to other cities in the country. And of course it puts the LALIGA brand and Spanish professional football at the service of society throughout the country".

Javier Solís, Corporate Director of Valencia CF: "One year on from the 'Grada Visitante' agreement coming into force, we can say it's been a real success for Valencia CF. More than 5,300 of our fans were able to accompany the players to various LALIGA grounds, which has undoubtedly made the players feel even closer to the club".

LALIGA continues to make things easier for fans, this time with the 'Grada Visitante' agreement. Signed by 17 LALIGA EA SPORTS clubs and governed under the principle of reciprocity, it provides a fixed quota of 300 tickets at a maximum price of €30 for fans.
