Kike recues a point for Murcia

After three victories in the Estadio Nueva Condomina, Real Murcia CF failed to make it four as it drew 2-2 against Córdoba CF in a Liga Adelante match where all the goals came in the second half.

The first half was evenly matched and neither team was willing to take risks, which led to few chances. Pelayo had one for Córdoba but Casto parried his shot from outside the box for a corner. However, the move was a one-off in an otherwise flat first half.

It was all change in the second half though, and Murcia made the most of its first real chance to take the lead through a goal from Mauro dos Santos. But almost immediately the home team's goal-scorer fouled Pelayo in the box and Carlos Caballero levelled the match from the 12-yard spot. It was Caballero who gave Córdoba a 1-2 lead after one hour of play and when it looked like the points were to go home with the visitors, Kike made it two all from another penalty, this one coming in injury time, meaning that both teams remain in the Liga Adelante playoff spots.
