This VS RACISM PUMA ball will mark the culmination of the 4th edition of the initiative by LALIGA and EA SPORTS—a project dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of eradicating racism both on and off the field. This commemorative ball will be present in all matches of LALIGA EA SPORTS, LALIGA HYPERMOTION, and Liga F this weekend.
The design of the ball was created by urban artist SUSO33. Through his work titled “Crisol de Culturas” (Melting Pot of Cultures), he reinforces the idea that art, like football, is a universal language that knows no borders, breaks barriers, and promotes dialogue and respect among different cultures.
Since the initiative’s launch on March 14, 42 clubs have joined the project, along with participation from EA SPORTS, Avery Dennison, and PUMA.
This weekend, awareness messages will once again be featured in stadiums, alongside with other initiatives, including the presence of escort kits from the Fundación Secretariado Gitano. These kits will accompany Real Betis players in the Gran Derbi of Seville. The goal of this initiative is to raise visibility for the Roma community as part of the VS RACISM project, coinciding with the 600th anniversary of the Roma people's arrival in the Iberian Peninsula.
The VS RACISM project is part of the “Transforming the Game” concept, which reflects the shared mission of both companies to build the football of the future: a football capable of creating a positive impact on society.
