Álvaro Rubio replaces Diego Cocca as the head coach of Real Valladolid

Real Valladolid has officially announced the dismissal of Diego Cocca as head coach of the first team. During his tenure, Cocca managed the team in eight official matches (seven in LaLiga EA SPORTS and one in the Copa del Rey), achieving only one victory.

The 0-4 defeat at the José Zorrilla against Sevilla brought a swift end to the Argentine coach's time in charge, just two and a half months after replacing Paulo Pezzolano.

As he did with the previous dismissal, Álvaro Rubio, the coach of Real Valladolid's reserve team (currently playing in Segunda RFEF), will take over for their next league match. That match is against Athletic Club at San Mamés.
